Kryon Backup — Kryon Innovator co., ltd.

1. Scope & Internal Operational Use

These Terms of Service govern the use of Kryon Backup, an internal administrative backup utility operated by Kryon Innovator co., ltd. (Bangkok, Thailand).

Kryon Backup is strictly an internal operational tool intended and configured for authorized systems administrators to manage server disaster recovery backups. It does not constitute a public commercial service, public SaaS platform, or consumer offering. No fees are charged for its use, and no commercial service level agreements (SLAs) are offered.

2. Data Authorization & Ownership

The operator utilizing Kryon Backup represents and warrants that:

  • They possess full legal authority, licenses, and permissions to access, back up, and transfer the target server configurations and database contents.
  • The destination Google Drive account is authorized by the account owner to receive and store these backup archives.

3. Encryption Key Custody & Recovery Responsibility

Kryon Backup applies client-side encryption via Rclone Crypt to backup archives prior to cloud transmission.

  • Master Key Management: The administrator is responsible for generating, managing, and securely preserving the master encryption passphrases and salts off-host in an authorized password vault.
  • Restore Testing Responsibility: The operator is responsible for testing and verifying restore procedures.
  • No Google Key Recovery: Google does not hold, manage, or have access to encryption keys. In the event all operator copies of an encryption passphrase are lost, encrypted backup files stored in Google Drive cannot be decrypted or restored.

4. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

Kryon Backup is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind. Kryon Innovator co., ltd. does not guarantee that backup operations will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Kryon Innovator co., ltd. shall not be liable for any data loss, backup corruption, lost encryption keys, or failures of third-party network or cloud storage providers.
